Enclos Tensile Structures specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of innovative lightweight structures utilizing tension members like cables, tension rods, and light steel systems. Our cable structures provide architects and developers with flexible structural solutions for any building component, like a roof, a façade, a canopy, a bridge, a tower, or an enclosure of any type. Our products and solutions can be incorporated into any building with conventional main construction, or they can form their own comprehensive and independent structure.

Our Enclos cable structures have been developed from revolutionary engineering ideas pioneered by innovators like Vladimir Shukov, Frei Otto, Ove Arup, and Ted Happold and continue on the quest of delivering creative designs with a minimum use of materials and a maximum of exciting 3D forms. These complex engineering principles, including a balance between tension and compression, a variety of shapes like hyperbolic paraboloids, anticlastic and synclastic curvature, warped conoids, and structural concepts like tensegrity solutions, are the fundamentals that allow us to craft our extraordinary lightweight structures. While there is no limitation in the use of Cable Structures, the main areas of interest may include the following:

Cables are a fundamental component of our lightweight structures. Combined with advanced lightweight ETFE, PTFE, and PVC membranes, our structures require minimal structural support, allowing us to create previously unimagined structures. Our cable structures are low maintenance, can be designed to allow filtered daylight, and are sustainable.
