ETS has completed a major construction milestone at Miami Freedom Park: the successful lift and tensioning of the stadium’s cable net canopy structure.

The operation took place over four weeks and used 96 synchronized hydraulic jacks to raise and tension more than 1,400 tons of cables and clamps. This cable net system will support more than 330,000 square feet of PTFE and ETFE membrane, forming the stadium’s distinctive spectator canopy.

The lift represents a major step forward in the stadium’s construction and a proud achievement for ETS and the project partners involved. The precision, teamwork, and technical coordination behind the operation reflect the complexity of large-scale tensile architecture and set the stage for the next major phase: membrane installation.
