The spectator canopy at Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park is taking shape as ETS continues installation of the PTFE membrane and ETFE film that will define the stadium’s signature roof structure.
Since beginning in July 2025, ETS has been advancing work on the stadium’s large-scale tensile canopy, which includes 283,000 square feet of translucent PTFE membrane and 46,000 square feet of transparent ETFE film. As these systems are carefully installed and tensioned into place, the canopy’s scale, geometry, and architectural presence are becoming increasingly visible across the site.
This phase of construction highlights the precision required to transform complex tensile systems into a finished architectural feature. As PTFE and ETFE installation progresses, ETS and the broader project team continue bringing the Miami Freedom Park canopy to life.
