The opening of Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park marks the culmination of an extraordinary effort by ETS and a global team of project partners.
Delivered on an aggressive fast-track schedule, the stadium canopy brings together the full language of tensile architecture: cable nets, PTFE membrane, and ETFE film. Executed at a scale and level of integration never before seen in North America, the canopy reflects the precision, coordination, and technical expertise required to transform a complex lightweight structure into a defining architectural feature.
From first cable to first kickoff, the project demanded close collaboration across continents and disciplines. Engineers, fabricators, installers, field crews, and project partners worked against a challenging schedule to bring the canopy to life and support the successful opening of Miami Freedom Park.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this milestone achievement.
