FabriTec Structures was hired by Frisco Stadium, LLC to build and install a new canopy to cover the entire south end of the Toyota Stadium along with a large, custom scarf-like tensile membrane canopy that will be in front of the south gate where a new National Soccer Hall of Fame and museum that is being built.
This $39 million renovation project will make history as it will be the first major league Hall of Fame to be built on the grounds of a stadium. According to FC Dallas website, the facility was designed to “honor the past” through the lens of modern technology.
FabriTec Structures as a history of innovation and achievement. As a matter of fact, this won’t be the first time FabriTec has worked on the Toyota Stadium. In 2005, FabriTec built and installed two PVC canopies on the corners of the south end of the stadium.
Construction on the Hall of Fame at the Toyota Stadium started in 2016. Likewise, FabriTec has begun working on the trusses for the large, custom canopies. If everything goes as intended, a newly renovated Toyota Stadium with a brand new National Soccer Hall of Fame will be ready for fans in early 2018.
