FabriTec Structures’ Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport project has been featured on the cover of ENR Southwest as a highlighted project that’s under construction. The article addresses the canopies fabricated by FabriTec as the “crown jewel of Atlanta Airport upgrade”.
Fabritec is thrilled to hear the excitement within the architecture, design, and construction industry for what will be the largest ETFE canopy in the world. Construction on the north canopy has already begun this spring and pictures can be seen of the first ETFE panels going up.
The ATL Next Central Passenger Terminal Complex project is a joint venture led by HOK to modernize terminal facilities for domestic and international passengers at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. “We fell in love with the proposal for a protective enclosure that would create shelter and make a kind of primary space for the airport,” said Ripley Rasmus, HOK senior design principal.
