New things are coming to Austin’s South Terminal! FabriTec has been contracted by Hunt Construction Group, Inc to construct several tensile shade structures at the new South Terminal at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA). A series of 23 inverted cone-like shapes, with square corners, will welcome passengers at curbside with a minimalist, modern style complimenting the terminal’s overall mid-century theme. The membrane will be an opaque white PVC with a total fabric surface area of 14,030 sq. ft.
