Pedestrians are the beneficiaries of the Memphis International Airport plaza’s latest remodel between the terminal and the new Consolidated Ground Transportation Center. As you can see the the picture, the canopies provide ample amount of protection from the elements for all travelers.
The airport went through a number of other renovations along with removing portions of an existing short/long-term parking structure to create an canopy-covered atrium with moving walkways. They also added new water features, landscaped areas and outdoor speakers that broadcast music from local artists.
