Avalon, a luxury mixed use development, in Alpharetta, Georgia, has three new custom-designed tensile membrane canopies to shade patrons at one of its signature outdoor dining areas.
Billing itself as one of the most innovative projects in the U.S., the sustainably-designed luxury living community known as Avalon, will add 90,000 sq. ft. of upscale retail shops and restaurants, 300,000 sq. ft of free-standing Class-A office space, 276 rental homes, and a 325-key full-service hotel and conference center in Phase II of construction.
The three fabric membrane canopies, resembling inverted umbrellas, are mast-supported PTFE structures with a total fabric surface area of approximately 715 square feet.
