Enclos Tensile Structures joined BuroHappold in the construction of a 123-foot-long galvanized steel cable net canopy at the Main Street Bridge straddling the US-101 Freeway at Los Angeles Street in Downtown as part of Mayor Garcetti’s “Great Streets” campaign taking on the renovation of 15 iconic streets in the City of Los Angeles. The revitalization effort is intended to beautify and unify Angelenos by activating public spaces, improving public safety, enhancing local culture, and providing economic revitalization. The total cable net plan area stretches approximately 2,112 square feet and, at night, is ablaze with LED lights.
