In this video from our partners at PFEIFER, we will witness what it takes to restore a city’s pride and rebuild a piece of history that once was abandoned. This is the incredible story the legendary Slaski Stadium, formerly Polish National Stadium, in Chorzow. Our partners at PFEIFER rebuilt it with the ingenuity, experience and tireless work that only the world’s most elite builders can provide.
In 2012, Chorzow’s legendary Polish National Stadium was due for a refurbishment. It was expected to be completed in time for the European Soccer-Championship between Poland and Ukraine. Unfortunately, the constructors involved in the project at the time tried to do the lift of the cable net and failed. After the construction site had been abandoned for years, PFEIFER finished the roof of the stadium and helped to rebuild the legend.
