On this project, we joined Grimshaw Architects and Skanska USA Building in the design and construction of a frame-supported PTFE tension fabric structure atop the new Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in Miami-Dade County. The museum was built to LEED standards with the ability to harvest energy from water, sun, and wind sources to power exhibits that include a 600,000-gallon aquarium, 3-D planetarium, cafes, and other interactive exhibits.
